SWIMMING 2010 Started off with a SPLASH! We held our first ever Foundation Phase gala to encourage all learners to get wet. If they used a kicker board or had a little help from a Gr. 7 – they all made it to the other side of the pool with a smile on their face. Well done.
All our more competent swimmers took part in our PBP Colour Gala held at Faure street swimming pool on the 1 February. We smashed 15 records!
We took part in various galas during this term…
Paarl Boys’ Primary is very proud of our two star swimmers; Darren Minnies (Gr.
6E) and Pierre Pretorius (Gr. 5A). These two boys made the Western Cape
Swimming team. They participated at the SA Primary Schools Swimming Gala and
made us very proud. |
