Welcome to the grade 4 web page.
Our aim with this page
is to keep you abreast with the happenings in grade 4 as well as the exciting
projects that we will be involved with this year.
The grade 4 english class consists of 35 very enthusiastic learners and the
afrikaans class consists of 29 learners. We started off the year in brand
new classrooms, all freshly painted and cleaned. Come and visit us
sometime.
The grade 4's have an exciting year ahead of them. We
started off the year by launching the Apple Project in both the english and
afrikaans classes. The official opening of the Apple Project took place on
the 10th of March, where we were very excited to have a visit from Western Cape
Education Minister, Mr Donald Grant.
In the 1st term, the boys integrated the Apple MacBook into their curriculum by
designing a poster on a planet. They then made a photo album of their
outing to the Paarl Museum and designed their own web page. They had to
integrate the history of the school into this page. Both the english and
the afrikaans classes had to plan a party and design their invitation, draw up a
budget and a guest list.
