Welcome to Grade 2 * * * Welkom in Graad 2 We welcomed all our new friends to Gr. 2 and kicked off the year with our annual Food Festival on the 19 February. The Grade 2E class was as cool as ice in their penguin suits grooving to Vanilla Ice. The Grade 2A class did exactly the opposite and was hot beach boys. We discovered some real dancing talent amongst these boys.
On the 17th of March we went on our first Grade 2 class trip and visited Seal Island. We took a long bus drive to Houtbay and went on the boat trip to Seal Island. Luckily we only saw seals and didn’t spot any sharks, although some of the boys swore they did. After the boat trip we enjoyed ice creams at the harbor. We then had a picnic on the beach and had to get back on the bus for the long drive home.
